Eh, how can you think that someone paying a deserving compliment to somone else is an act of creepery?

What a fabulous site, curly. We also have a recording service here, where elderly people are taped as they talk about their young days and what the various places were like then and how they lived back then. I am not sure if it is all available on the net or not, but I know in some areas if you go through an old house etc you can play the tapes. The Govt officially declares some people "living treasures", would you believe.
Until recent years, there used to be a few around who could still remember the time before Federation (which was 1st Jan 1901)

Your photos and the photos of some of the other boardies are a bit like that, curly. They are leaving a record of how your area looked. Sometimes you don't realise how much things change till you lok back at old photos.

The Essex accent has to be the worst, a cockney accent on steroids. Bladdy 'orrible.

All other accents I can cope with and I particularly like to take the micky out of the south west (Somerset) accent. I lived in Weston Super Mare for a few years and do a very passable version of it. Ooh Aaar, it b'aint narmal it ain't, Oi tell ee it ain't. B'aint narmal at aaall.
