A Newbie Asks (poss pub content)
A Newbie Asks (poss pub content)
Hi all, been having a mint time reading the threads and seeing the photos, the local knowledge contained herein moves me to ask.....
Did the McNulty Offshore's Offices used to be a pub once and if so does anyone recall the name?
cheers in advance

Before they moved into the Readheads shipyard, McNulty's had a workshop off Victoria Rd in Laygate, they used to build canoes there.
I voted leave

It was demolished a couple of years ago. Can remember the foot bridge that connected Readheads offices on opposite sides of commercial Road.captain beefheart wrote:the pub outside readheads was i believe the neptune, not sure if it is offices now

I've got some good memories of nights out there when the Amazing Squibs used to play.
Not to mention, one (or a few) lock-ins.

There was definately a pub on the readheads building itself, I've seen a picture of it somewhere, I won't rest until I find it.

The pub was called "the London hotel". It was on the corner of the building next to the public landing. Anything you want to know about the river ask Mr-Angry.
