Always Check Your Lottery Ticket
Just read this.....
A mum thought she had won £240,000 on the lottery - only to find that her ticket was for the wrong day. Jeanette's winning ticket was not for that night, Saturday, but the following Wednesday. Jeanette of Eastham, Merseyside, said yesterday: "It's like a cruel joke. One minute I thought I'd won a fortune - and the next it had gone."
"I told the lad at store, three lucky dips for that night but as I said it he was talking to someone through a perspex screen next to him. That's the only reason I can think of for the mistake. All I can say is I now know what it feels like to win an awful lot of money... and it's a fantastic feeling.
"Unfortunately I know what it is like to have it taken away."
A spokeswoman for Camelot said: "While we understand the customer's disappointment, all lottery tickets clearly state that it's the customer's responsibility to check the details. If a mistake had been picked up by the customer at the time, we would of course have re-issued fresh tickets for the Saturday draw
If you still go to the shop to buy tickets, make sure you check it's tonights ......

Yep play on-line and save the environment
I wonder how many tonnes of paper are produced twice a week in tickets ?
It's much easier ( direct debit ) don't miss a draw and never lose a ticket.
I once ran a lottery syndicate at the breweries when I worked in Logistics.
Before my online syndicate ( http://www.betlott.com )
And I remember having to ring all the guys that were in it one Saturday, I had forgot to put it on...
I was sweating my wotsits off, when those numbers were being called ( we kept the same ones ) in case they came out. [-o<
If they had of come out, you would of seen my body hanging from the 'Home of Newcastle Brown Ale' sign.

Champion your tenor was no good he is dead, he owed money, and his relatives are fighting over the rest of it.
