filming in king Street

I was in king street this morning about 9.10am, the junction at the ship and royal, there was something being filmed, police chasing a man. Anyone know anything about it? thanks

I think there filming for a new series of "WIRE IN THE BLOOD" seen Robson Green this morning getting a paper and some tabs at the chi metro shop. He said they were filming for a few days in shields, he was asking the bloke in the shop where the best curry house was aswell cos he was out in shields to night.

I don't actually know what's going on (it's not my area and I'm scared to mention it in the office in case I get lumbered with finding out) but I notice they're all camped in Temple Park Centre car park.
I hope they're paying at the machine for taking up all the spaces though.
