Bit Windy Today
Went to have some fun in the wind with my 4 yr old grandson.
Had to tie some rope to him to make sure he didn't blow away.
Took some shot with my phone anyway.

Re: Bit Windy Today
I love watching the sea in all its moods. Remember the TV series-serial. The Onedin Line. it used to have for its theme music The Adagio from Spartacus composed by Khatchaturian
A good few years ago now I bought a 33 and a third long playing stereo record of TV themes which had that theme on it.
What made it special as the music began to play softly its introduction they had recorded with the music the gentle sound of waves lapping on the seashore with the mewing of gulls and as the music builds up like a storm to its full crescendo of howling winds and driven waves you could imagine the sailing ship of the Onedin line pitching and tossing like a cork in the tempest. then slowly as the winds dies and the sea calms with the passing of the storm. And the ship hoists it sails again and continues on to its destination. Then as the winds gradually died away and the music took you back untill all you could here once more is the mewing of the gulls as the sea once again lapped the seashore.
Every time I played that record my eyes would mist over. I reckon it must have been the salt spray irritating my eyes.

How was a totally inorganic world able to create organic life? Answer it couldn't and didn't

Phones a Sony Erikson K800i. not a bad phone, they do a 5 megapixel one now, mines a 3.2.
Little un wrapped up ?
Actually I was teaching how to get hold of the bottom of his coat then hold it over his head like a sail. ( remember doing that at school )
He was all over the place, what a laugh
I also had him convinced that if we ran INTO the wind and flapped our arms fast enough we could take off. We got some funny looks running across the field
flapping like crazy.
Days to remember eh ?

I meant rather than having him wrapped up, I had his coat open to the elements.
I didn't think it was that cold though, just.....windy.

Re: Bit Windy Today
It was very windy in my house last night.
I had a large portion of the wife's home made ham and pease pudding.
Got sick of pulling the quilt down from the ceiling during the night.
So consequently I assumed that's where the earthquake originated.
