Restaurants
As you are all aware I'm coming up for a visit shortly, I would like to know if any 1 can recommend a Indian or Chinese restaurant that you know of in Ocean Road.
I found Spice 1 on the Internet but that's at the Nook, I can't find a web site with menus and prices for restaurants in Ocean Road, do they still do midweek specials?
Thank you.

most of them do midweek specials, but even at full price they are still cheap

Mind you there aren't many cats and dogs in Shields.jimmywizz wrote:most of them do midweek specials, but even at full price they are still cheap

Re: Restaurants
Talking of cats and dogs.
Awhile back there was a parody on cats being on certain menus in certain restaurants. It was sung to the tune Cats in the Cradle. But sadly some people complained about it and it was taken off the web. And even though I had put it in my favourites it would not work there either so I had to delete it.

How was a totally inorganic world able to create organic life? Answer it couldn't and didn't

Yes, I remember during the late 70's or was it the early 80's this was the case, mind you posting it on here can't be very good for tourism in South Shields.
So we will just stick with fish & chips then, I will also let my friends know who are traveling up from London (for the first time) for a overnight stay.
