Can anyone confirm that the old pit workings under Lord Nelson Street, Tyne Dock would be the Templetown Old Colliery abandoned about 1805 (owner Simon Temple)
Not to be confused with the later Templetown Colliery that opened in 1805 and abandoned 1825 that was in Temple Town (roughly where Smith Street is today)
