Radio 1 Big Weekend

Just incase people didn't know,
Radio one are hosting their Big Weekend in Sunderland (of all places!!!) on the 7th and 8th of May.
The ticktes are free, but you have to que for them at Sunderland Civic Centre on saturday 23rd and sunday 24th of April.
Some of the bands playing are: Foo Fighters, Futureheads, Black Eyed Peas, Natalie Imbruglia ...

I've only posted this because my Dad says that nothing like this ever gets advertised round shileds any more...

Lol..the boyf and I are queuing for tickets. The tickets are available at 12pm, but the earliet you can queue is 6am. We're getting there at the earliest time possible...I only live next door tothe civic centre after all lol

The organisation for this was absolutely disgraceful. I plan on writing to Sunderland Council, Radio 1, the Sunderland Echo..and anyone else I can think of to complain to about it! Thankfully nobody got hurt seriously, but really, the whole thing was just an accident waiting to happen!
