lost relatives

Hello everybody,I am trying to locate my fathers family,his brothers family they emigrated to canada sometime in the sixties,my father was richard john pope and he was born in south shields,he was born in 1912 but i havent been able to find any record of his birth,he was roman catholic,he died in 1983 unfortunately i never got to meet him so would absolutely love to find my lost cousins in canada,but would love just to find out if anybody out there may know any of my family,before my father married my mother agnes he was married to someone else and had a son born in 1939 but i dont know anything about him,so looking forward to hearing from anyone who may be able to help thankyou very much,kind regards jane.
