Help with finding relative

I have just found out recently that I have a cousin, her name at birth was Ann McGreal Walker, dob 2nd March 1941, place 35 Thrift Street, North Shields.
Her mother was Annie McGreal Myers, and father was James Henry Walker, he died in the 2nd world war in Tunisia, aged 28 years. He was in The Argyle & Sutherland Highlanders regiment. My mother was his only sister,Thora, she was not married when I was born, hence I was fostered with family members until my marriage. I only found out about Ann 2 years ago and since then my aunt has been helping me trying to find information.
Annie was from Jarrow that is all we know about her. As Ann is my only relative I would like to perhaps find her and she may have family information, I personally do not know any more that stated above.
