still collecting info ,on my family tree,i was passed on some photos ,suposed to be my Dad,thought i would share them ...
Mr Smith ,ive since learnt he also worked on the buses,he started off on the trams ,he was the switch man ?? i think ,switch the lines for trams to go the other way ..the he worked on ecconomic bus ,then the other buses ,,ive got a pic somewhere with his uniform on,,but ive lost it ..it be somewhere ive put safe ,,and forgot :D
maybe you know his face ..?

The last photo of your Grandparents, in that photo he looks
a lot like Bobby Thompson 8)

Fantastic photo's Anna, thanks for posting them.

The little boy in his peddle car, I used to have one like that when I was his age and absolutely loved it. :D
The corner houses in the background behind the boy in his car, was this Bamburgh Avenue/Embleton Avenue ?

And the boys at the front door with their guitars, aka The Beatles, even left handed like Paul McCartney. :lol:

Yes Mala ..it was embelton ave ,,and thats my brother ,,he has always looked like paul macartney,,even to this day .. :D

In your photo where the 2 houses meet at the corner of Embleton Avenue and Bamburgh Grove, the one to the right,
on Bamburgh Grove is where my brother lived. I think it was number 20. And that would be about 1973 - 1977.

Mala ..ive just been informed ,it was Drudrigde Creasant that photo was took ..it was on the corner num 14..it was the house i was born in ,my gramar lived there,before moving to Embelton Ave...sorry to give you the wrong info ....im famous fot it .. :D
This is another photo i have been passed on ,,its not in a very good condition like ,,looks like it been in all the wars :D

what names have you found while doing your family tree . which photo was took in embleton ave i lived in that street for 18 years and i dont recognise it
