It's looking good Pilot. The blossom on the ground looks like little specks of snow or confetti, very pritty.
We haven't had any decent rain for months and everywhere is dry and brown.
Here's a photo I took a few months ago
The same spot a month ago
It's a dam at the end of our street and I haven't been down since I took the last photo I expect it's even lower now.
It's only a little backyard dam but all the big dams in S.E. Qld are in the same condition or even worse.
The rainy season as come and gone with no big falls and so no run-off into the dams.

Pilot, I was reading on the weekend that you guys are in the midst of a very warm spell with flowers etc blooming all over the country… even the Poppies were out in april which never generally come out till june at their earliest… very interesting.. good for getting out doors but no good if you don’t get the necessary rains for crops etc.. although I don’t picture the UK ever in need for rain

I was thinking, and I was wondering would he, could he, should I dare I ask. I lie awake tossing and turning in my bed because there is a major conflict going on in my tormented mind, all because I am to scared to ask Pilot if he would-could ask his wife to make and post me an apple pie when the apples are ripe.
Just kidding
