I only know that building as being a huge monstrosity between The Union Rooms and Revolution which the unfortunate use as a car park. I say unfortunate becaue pigeons and kittiwakes use it as a toilet and the cars parked underneath are often buried under about six inches of bird droppings.
The Union Rooms and Wenger's (Yates') stood empty for years before being put to use, thankfully a use has been found becuase those buildings look nice. John Blundell's over on Clayton Street (IIRC) has sat empty for eons as well and could do with being put to some use.
If only they's take down that eyesore that houses Gotham Town... both the building and the pub are a blot on the landscape.
