well what do you know one of my great great great grandmothers was a mary thompson she married richard wilkinson at st hildas in the 1840's
but theres lots of thompsons about in shields i worked with one and one of my sisters boyfriends is a thompson ,but you never know we may have the same thompsons

Same path again!!
Thompsons I mentioned on previous post to you John Andrew born 1926 and agnes annie born 1929, Their father was John William Thompson a marine Fireman, Their mother (my grandmother ) was Margaret West, whose sister Isabella married William Sim!!.
Confused???? You may well be if I tell you the full mixed up history.
By the way my g grandmother was Frances Thompson born in Stockton Moved to South shields ( No relation to the above Thompsons)
