I am try to find some living relative of this man. I happen to have a box of things which belonged to him. He was born in Sunderland in 1907 and his fathers name was Thomas and they lived in the roker area. He was obviously a seaman because the box contains discharge papers from the ships he worked on, old photographs, letters of his mother, his completion of apprenticeship certificate. I'm sure these would be of great sentimental value to someone. any help would be fantastic.



I think this is a picture of him in his younger days, dont know who the women are.

Which company did he serve his time with? and what ships was he discharged from, this might be a clue in tracing him.
