im a moderator on a fishing website
www.nesa.co.uk
we fish 3 or 4 matches a year and also have auctions
that all money goes to the rnli
so i can say we are doing our bit
we were going to do a lot more
but we wanted a few terms on our side
like keeping funds local
but they said everything went in to national accounts
and im talking about thousands of pounds
but thats all in the past
as the bloke who was going to donate does not have the website
but every little helps

Why not become a Shoreline member:

http://www.rnli.org.uk/supplementary/se ... xml_no_dtd

as well as your precious member ship you will receive, amongst other things a RNLI magazine every three months keeping you up to date with all the events, rescues and open days around the UK, the RNLI catalogue and many other benefits.

I have been a member for 27 years and am proud of the never tiring spirit of these brave people and the unsung fund raises that keep this registered charity (209603) alive.

Best of Luck Kris

Hope you raise loads of cash, and make it to the finishing line with that beer belly!

As nesr says, become a shoreline member and save that strain on the frame!

You also get the chance to sell loads of RNLI Lottery Tickets every year - at no extra cost!

Go for it.

Why do you need more? How much do you have in the bank collecting interest?

One day mr grumpy you could get washed off your precious rocks and get swept out to sea and then you will know why they need extra funding by way of donations otherwise there would ne no volunteers to be able to come out and save your precious skin.

Kris
Why you collecting money for RNLI in London ??

I not think they by the sea are they.

Come down to Brighton or Southend or anywhere there is sea. I sure you get a better response.
I always value Pilots wit and input
