Re: old pics
I like looking at old pictures as well. When we were kids we used to have a big shoe box full of postcard size photos with the same picture duplicated side by side. And we had an instrument that you put this card on and when you liked through the eye piece you could only see the one picture but it was in 3 D.

Re: old pics
Yes. great pic of the 'Economic' and the ferry. I have some 8mm cine film of the ferry c1966 I will digitise and put on here sometime. The photos you are referring to Globalmyths are sreo pairs, which are now highly collectable and sell on e-bay for up to £30. I have been a sterophotographer for 30 years now and own 3 sereo cameras (see 2 below)
The first is a Kodak Stereo Camera (c1950s), the second a Stereo Realist (1956) they both take 18 stereo pairs on a 36 exp 35mm film.
In addition I have a modern stereo camera and a beamspltter which attaches to the lens on a 35mm SLR. whichtake a pair on one 35mm frame. I also use a stero-rig of 2 35mm SLRs and a rig of two digital cameras. Stereo pairs can be free viewed, that is without a viwer) I will put a couple on here later with instructions how to view later.
Ah! the 'Economic' I can still smell the inrerior looking at that photo =D>

Don't mean to make ye jealous Anna but with me driving a bus, albeit being a mini-bus I can go straight through the LGV/Van/Bus lane so it only takes me a coupla minutes

Re: old pics
Its a pity you can't put a flashing red light on the roof of your car like they used to do in Starsky and Hutch.

hi Anna,
thanks for those pics, I was amazed at the bombed market. Does the market place look huge in that picture. Keep them comming. I only wish i had some to share. i think i have some from tyne dock back in the 80's but its not changed much.
ps i am now inspired to go out with my camera in my bag.
