FOSTER A KITTEN

Post by bamboo »

Willow cat shelter charity, based in East Boldon Tyne & Wear are currently looking for cat/kitten foster carers.
This small but caring and dedicated shelter has been helping cats for many years, rescuing, vaccinating, neutering and re-homing stray and abandoned cats. If you live in Tyne & Wear and have space in your home and your heart for a cat companion, do give them a call to find out about the fab felines currently in their care.
Tel: 0191 536 6221 Maria
(Please phone first, for an appointment to meet the cats)
any help would be greatly appreciated,

Have you got enough to supply the Chinese Restaurants for their chicken chow mein?

Global, the first Chinese restaurant we had in Shields had to close down in the 60s because of rumours around the town that they were using cats instead of chickens in the meals.

If they had been using cats, I suppose their punishment would have been a flogging by using a Cat of nine tails.

Lol thats whats happened to me! Fostered two older cats for a local animal charity in August, and we've ended up keeping them. So now we have 3 cats and a dog. The Poor dog doesn't know what to do with himself, and the house is permanently hairy! lol!

We have a new member of the Security Team here ! He turned up three weeks ago and has made himself at home !. He is a black and white Tom cat and he has been re-named "Jess" :D We have asked around the area if anyone has lost a cat recently and as nobody has claimed him it appears that he was brought in on one of the many lorries or vans that visit us. He now has a warm place to sleep and a cupboard full of food so it looks like he plans to stay with us ! The sight of ten grown men, all beefy Security Guards, attending to the cats every needs has to be seen to be believed ! It has to be said that since he arrived the mouse population has dropped dramatically !!!!

Cheers,

gag. :D :D :D
You can take the lad out of Shields, but you cannot take Shields out of the lad !!!!!!!!!!!

My mate reckons he's going to a convention for retired shoe repairers today.
Load of old cobblers if you ask me.
