Mr Porteous has just celebrated his 90th birthday. He plays the piano at St Michael's Church. Another Redwell teacher who attends St Michael's is Mr Hulme the history teacher. LOL Remember Mr Porteous hand drawing a perfect circle on the blackboard, freehand.. He went on for ages, chuffed to bits, ...

I think my cousin had a garage in car park at side of stadium.....I'll have to check..
By the way..the same guy is part owner of Osbourne Motors in Commercial road.
Called that because they used to be based in Osbourne Ave after the Stadium..

Don't know if anyones mention these already, but just had one of those Dextrose Energy sweets.
And JUNGLE DRUMS popped into my mind.

Thursday night at the Tavern was called CRAZY NIGHT..
Games for prizes and stuff on stage....
It was great..I think that was about the first time I started going to nightclubs.
Really good nights with the lasses from Hintons ( corner of Fowler St/Kepple St )
