It's been a few years, Mr. A., but I think he was blotto for much of the filming. The part I remember most is the hotel scene with Martin Sheen. I know the film took 3 year in the making, and went way over budget. Francis, put a lot of his own money into it. What about the song in that scene you me...

Isn't it funny how once a film comes out about a certain topic like Vietnam, which catches the publics imagination there always seems to a few more type of spin offs. The greatest war film ever made "platoon" was the first, then came "full metal jacket" then "hamburger hill...
