Shes married to Geordie Craig (postman well known in local cricket and Footy circles).

RIP Alan Craig (Beckett) a modest great drummer,and legend of the North East Rock scene.
A genuine all round nice guy.
Am sure you will be up their talking drums with John Bonham, Buddy Rich etc

Let me use his kit years ago at the the Legion club- True respect.

Went to the County 2 weeks ago first time for a couple of years.
Couldnt believe how packed it was at 8pm, everyone seemed happy and friendly really good vibes.

I was in 1st year when you left, but i remember Billy Puttok he was a total bully.
I remember reading in the gazette that he and another squaddie got life in prison in Hong Kong whilst in army for beating taxi driver to death with sticks.

Yes the Geordie Elliot i also new used to think himself a bit of a hard man, and used to work on door at Buddies nightclub occasionaly.
Also think he was a Keith Bell lapdog for a spell in late 70s
Last time i saw him he had an arm missing think it happened in an industrial accident.

Whitburn footy team

Remember playing against Whitburn many times, Deka Hunter used to tackle you round the neck. Hi arse use to go if you did it back.
Hoever his brother Ray was a perfect gentleman who could look after homself if need be, and a good footy player.

Definately not the Abatoir, coz that used to be next to the Lord Clyde pub near to new police station.
As billy said probably left over part of railway bridge that used to run over road and alongside long gone Holy Trinity church towards High Shields.
