I did some work as a binman in London. I used to "go" in the hopper at the back of the truck. I kept worrying that someone would press the start button on the crusher. Its amazing how it helped me "perform".

This 'Britain as a third world country' really amazes me. Yes there are things wrong with this country but lets define third world.
Are the government bulldozing your home or confiscating your land ( Zimbabwe) No!
Are your neighbours hunting you down in order to kill you (Rwanda) No!
Are your children dying from preventable diseases (most of Africa ) No!
After natural disasters are you still living out in the open relying on charity( Pakistan ) No !
This casual use of the term third world to describe a country where nobody starves or dies for lack of money or medicine is an insult to people who live in real third world countries.

Dililah, I think that there are a few places in this country that of what you say applies, might not be on the same scale but it's there.
