The Mariners welcome Celtic Nation FC from Carlisle to Filtrona Park on Saturday, December 29th, kick off at 3.00pm for the final game of 2012, to bring the curtain down on a very disappointing and most depressing first half of the season, with the club bottom of the league table and relegation into the second division if the current situation is not rectified and points soon won. Time is now of the very essence in which to try and change the current situation, which will require a great effort from all concerned, with attitude and determined effort. A win will have the immediate effect of restoring confidence and self belief, and bring a huge lift and be a hoped for spring board to continue onwards. No one views relegation as yet anything like a certainly, while a little time yet remains to try and effect a recovery and get out of the bottom three league places, and we the supporters will continue to give the team our vocal support and encouragement at home and away to do our best to help lift performances.
