Sheesh!!!! I thought South shields was the centre of the world!!!!!
Ok....In simple terms,go to Google,You know, the rather large search
engine..type in gmail,hit enter,and read all about it,they are offering
almost 2GB,of storage,and if you are geekishly inclined,it is possible to
use it as an extra harddrive, you can only be invited at this stage, and
thats what I,m doing for all my friends on here,its absolutely free,no

no disrespect to you wakaman.............
but i think everyone should be very careful with this g-mail..............
although its purely each individuals choice to use it..............

when i first heard of this g-mail........ i immediately thought that to have a 2 gig data base reserved for personal emails is a bit sus.....
it sounded like an "information" gathering scam.

turns out it probably is............. check this out.......

i would never get an e-mail account where i have no control over each message, to be able to delete an email message that can still be accessed by google to me is very suspect............ especially when by law in the u.s., these emails are no longer considered to be "personal emails" after being in a database for more than 180 days.

looks like big brother is up to his old tricks............

So this is like a webmail with a huge capacity? It sounds like it would be a reasonable thing to have for one of my ebay accounts. I could not care less if the geeks at google read any personal messages on it, maybe if I ask nicely they can let me know US postal rates
