Tissiman watch/clock repairer.

Can anyone remember the watch maker/repairer at 31 Westoe Road in South Shields? I went to Westoe Infant school with the daughter in the mid/late 60's and am interested in finding her.
Any info would be great!

I remember the shop but know nothing of the people who owned it.
Was Tissiman the family name, if so there are no records of anyone
with that surname registered in the births, marriages or deaths with
South Shields Registry Office during the period 1910 to 1994.

If it is the Tisseman's I think it is they emigrated to Canada in the late seventies from their home in Hepscott Terrace.
I know they are on Friends Re-united and that Mrs. Tisseman and her husband must be in their late seventies or early eighties now.

I know of a Moira Tisseman who is some relation to this family who lives in Simonside. She is also on Facebook.

hello, thetissemans had two sons ernest and frank ,frank was the oldest and would be around 80yrs.now ernest would be around 77 now. the last i heard was frank managing lambs jewellers in hartlepool around 1990. both went to mortimer road school. bob. moran
