I have just seen in the 'Motality' thread you were at CP 1953. That was the year I left. Perhaps I know you? I had 2 cousins at the girls school too (same age)
If you go to my South Shields web site (a work in progress) you will find a bit about me and where I lived.

Hello Rusty,
Yes 'Daddy' Milne. PE teacher was a Scottish psychopath named Mr Frazer, Mr Tweedy was my teacher ( there's a pic of him on the schools page )Mr Moffat was music and my favourite Mr Henry was Art & Mr Young was Science. The rest of the names are now in the pit of the forgotten.

Hi hartman045.
Excellent site, well done.

My dad's family lived at 46 Park Avenue from the late '30's to the late 60's.
We used to get fish and chips from the Park Lane chippie after football matches at the Rec - smashin! =P~ =P~
They don't have fish like that these days - so hot and fresh and BIG! It's tiddlers they sell nowadays!

Keep up the good work. =D> =D>

Yes, there was. We used to stand on each ohers shoulders to watch the girls playing netball (in their knickers) Happy days eh?
If it was now, we would probably be Tasered or shot in the headby 60 police marksmen. #-o
