"Bridlington Queen" Remember her?

Post by kenbaker »

Does anyone remember the "Bridlington Queen" pleasure ship that was built by Watercraft. She was one of the many vessels that did the Dunkirk run on I believe three occations. Has anyone a photo of this vessel please? I remember her from Brid about the 1950s but she went on for quite a long time.

Thanks

Hello and thanks for the info. It was my uncle's firm Watercraft that built her and I can't understand it as the article says she was built in 1947. Stories to me over the years said she made three trips to Dunkirk during the war. I know my cousin has the original plans still and I will see if he can look it up and get the correct date for the build.

Thanks.
