Marsden pics.
Copy of an email from my nephew of photos of Lake Avenue and Quarry Lane.
Had a bit of trouble getting the panorama resized as the full version is 8.5mb. I've reduced it down to 2.3mb without it losing much quality and attached it to this email.
It's best if you can open it in a photo program, magnify it so it fills the screen top to bottom and then scroll left and right. When you first open it, it'll look tiny so you have to zoom in.
I couldn't manage to get it uploaded onto a file sharing site as they always resize the pics and it gets ruined so if you wanted to share the panorama, I think you'll have to email the attached photo.
I have uploaded all of the individual photos that made up the panorama plus a few others onto my Webshots page. Just click the link below and then look in the "Old Marsden Photos" folder. I'll stick them on a disk for you too.

Feel free to post that link onto a message board if you think anyone will be interested in seeing them or if you click the link to it button you can add the images onto a forum, any probs let me know.

changed that much really, the surrounding areas have though,
it's great to see some decent photos of Redwell, i've finally
been able to show me kids where I went to skool

Yes thats right Brian. Baldy lived the third door from the bottom 221 Quarry Lane, I lived two doors further up with the garden full of flowers at 225. Photo 5 shows my wifes house 237 Quarry Lane, 5 doors up from mine, she moved there when she was 5 years old so have known her for 54 years. She reckons the first time she saw me she knew she would marry me, shows what a sensible girl she was even as a child.brian c wrote:Is the first one where you used to live Pete?
