Watched a programme on tv the other day that said that cows contribute to more global warming than all the cars in the world put together. I have heard this before and thought it was their fa*ting that was doing it. Apparently not, it is down to their burping and not the fa*ting. Can we not collect this methane thereby milking the cow from both ends. Or do we just shoot them all and save the planet.

that is not true no human or animal farting contributes methane gas to the atmosphere if it was by this time if it was true you could blow up the whole world by striking a match.
