weather
OK so now I am thinking of packing and was just wondering what the weather is like in January. I know it wont be as cold as it is here (-20) so do I need to bring a big coat, boots etc. Or will a long lined leather coat will do..........

Re: weather
Cushy, it could be anything from +12 to about zero, so compared to Canada's harsh winter climate it'll be warm.
South Shields, I was born here, and I'll d*e here

Re: weather
Nivver mind the coat, Cushy - just make sure you've got some good boots or wellies to plodge through the slush!!
It's never so cold there anymore that the snow hangs around for long - just turn to slush!
