Wots the best film you have ever seen?

There is a helluva lot of good movies out there
But the one that sticks out for me is
PHONE BOOTH
Didnt really wanna watch it
but when i did i was gripped
Farrell at his best

I went to shop to look at foreign films (well I foreign!)
There was film called "Irreversible."
I look at front of CD it have little laurel wreaths, it win at film festivals, Cannes, Stockhom,Sundancers etc. People say good things about it. Even Johnathon Ross in his capacity of film revviewer on telly say something like "Must not be missed... greatest film for last twenty years. So I bought it........
OYOYOYOYOYOYOYOYOYOYOYOYO.
IT MOST HORRY FYING FILM I EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE.
Just think of scariest film you ever seen and then multiply it by a billion.
It to true to life. It not for faint hearted. Myrna (wife) is still in catatonic shock and Mr & Mrs Peabody (next door neighbours) never turn of bedroom light even in daytime.
Its very very very violent.
Good film though. I can understand why it won all those awards.

PS it in french but has subtitles. So all who watch must be able to read quickly

i thought the passion of christ was a mint film,even though it was subtitled.the scene where he was beaten was the best...nearly made me puke

I think my all time favourite is Zulu, probably because it was the first film I went to see at The Regent.
Had to feel sorry for Will though.

Very hand pictures for us the Regent. You do now realise how inaccurate Zulu was don't you?

You probably knew it all along but....

Ouch... my brain hurts...
ummm.... 'The Long, The Short and The Tall' had a brilliant storyline, but so did The Green Mile in a totally different way, but they are both brilliant films...
And you can't beat a good comedy, like The 51st State or Mean Machine.
I couldn't say my personal favourite really, because by tomorrow it would have probably changed, but, at the moment....
........
...well... Jarhead left an impression, but I'd still have to say Green Street.

I have seen a lot of people praise the Green Mile and I know Stephen King when he wrote the series wanted it to be really gripping serial-like stuff that people would hang out for, but I found the books themselves to be the most tedious and boring things he had written. It looks like it is one of those rare cases where the movie is better than the books?

Well it was a brilliant film...
It's just so many films touch me in so many different ways and on so many different levels...
Forrest Gump... theres another beauty.
And anyone who hasn't seen Green Street (aka Green Street Hooligans)... then do so ASAP. Its not the mindlessly violent Football Factory-esque fight-fest you may expect. (but it is pretty violent...)

Gee, this is a toughy! I'm thinking of movies I could watch anytime. Probably not great movies, but ones that are easy to watch, amusing, reasonable.
Midnight Run is great! The 'bail and bonds' characters crack me up!
Groundhog Day is funny too.
Butterfly effect is weird, and a bit chilling. Hmmm that's all for now.

Was wasnt it, very very weird. Good movie though..
Mmmm Theres a few good movies that iv seen, I must say I like the scarey movies the best.. A real good scarey one though..
The grudge was good... I liked the exorcists movies..
