Hi Stottie cake.
Thanks for the interest. The Blade and bucket club was formed when the territorial army in Highfield road was disbanded in 1999. Ex members wives and girlfriends banded together to form a social club, of wich now has a growing number of non TA members as well.We have no club house as such but most of the members tend to frequent the Stags head. It also has a very good social calendar. =D> =D> =D> =D>

my mate goes to the stags once a year for a reunion with the TA lads, i thinks he was at one only a few weeks ago

Hi Jimmywizz
It probably was the Royal Engineers TA annual reunion. Normaly the week before rememberance Sunday to avoid hangovers for rememberance day. In those imortal words never has so many beers been supped by so few! :shock:
