Anyone know of a John Elliott (sp?) who used to live up from the Nook going toward Marsden? He lived there back in the 1950's and his dad was a life guard at the beach.

Thanks for replying to my post however I goofed big time!! Don't know what I was thinking about but made a mistake with the name John Elliott.
I knew two "John's" personally while growing up in Shields and it was the first one (John Elliott) who lived in Frances Street I think (which is gone now). The second one was John Atkins (not Elliott as I wrote previously about). John Atkins lived up from the Nook towards Marsden but I don't remember his address. He's the one I was trying to find out about because I heard the other, John Elliott, died while he was still young. Anyhow......sorry for the blunder but I hope someone can tell me about John Atkins if they know anything.
