its a pps, it should run as a free standing item, you should only need powerpoint if it was a ppp extention

I don't know what you are talking about. But I do know that a message came up wanting to know whether I wanted to down load a file either onto my hard drive or into a tempory file. I chose to do neither and left my previous message.

How about choosing a subject that you don't have to down load a file.

global and cj, it might be that you're using ie7 (it seems to think that anything that hasnt come direct from Bill Gates must be nasty or a virus and not worth looking at..).

i think its just a case of if you dont have powerpoint, ie needs to download the file and run it from a temp location, ive never had that prob with pps files , prob because i do have powerpoint, but have had the same thing with other files...

up to you if you want to download and have a look, (its def not a virus), as everyone else who has had a look can confirm

sless, dont you find glayva a bit sickly after a while, I find that any more than two pints and I start to feel quite queazy....

Thanks g0var I accept its not a virus but with my slow speed. I am on dial up and its not worth the time and effort to download such files that are not beneficial to the day to day running of my computer.
