It's not so simple Curly. Some gay people can be good adoptive parents some can't. Some hetrosexual people can be good adoptive parents some can't. Therefore I won't vote.

some yes, some no… or may be more no than yes… but I never trust a man that doesn’t know where to put his p*nis or hangs around toilets to pick up sick, dirty, disgusting sexual affairs or looking at young children…

There is no reason why sexual orientation matters.

In reality, a bureaucratic decision would be based on the appearance of normal, heterosexual relationship vs an openly gay couple.

There are only 9000 children put up for adoption annually in Australia now. All that matters is that they are put into caring, responsible homes with enough income to support them.

I don't know what blue's paranoia about anal s*x and fellatio has to do with anything - let alone paedophilia.

Thats a bit of a cop out, Delilah. it can only be in theory. I personally think some gay couples would make better parents than many hetrosexual couples. So in general?

For once I find myself in general agreement with Mrp. This isn't a question about pedophiles. It's not a proper comparison to homosexuals. Gays are just people, like anyone else and deserve the same rights as everyone else.

It's not about government either, in my view. It's just extending the same rights and responsibiities to folks who might have a slightly different lifestyle to mine.

I want to know why insisting on the Queen's English is unacceptable, but accusing someone of being a liar without any proof, then being proven wrong, and then slandering one-sixth of the world's population with outright lies is acceptable.

i think that gay couples should go through a series of tests if they want to adopt, like how much monmey they earn, where they live etc

I just think kids need there dad and mum, even when kids have a father or mother that are complete drop kicks, they still crave "Both Parents" love, acceptence, guidance, its the fruit from both parties,...Its the way it supposed to be.

lol but do you not think that if they are genuine that they should be able to adopt, i think they should only be able to adopt little children like less than a year old, because if they adopt like a 7 year old there will be a lot of awkwardness. but i could be wrong...as im about t find out lol
