Yes Nick Drake was on it doing "Time has told me" I've never been keen on him and couldn't understand why everyone was making a fuss until I heard Northern Sky.

There was a compilation album before Nice enough to Eat called "You can all join in" which was also on the Island label.

Do you remember the Rock Machine compilations which had tracks from CBS groups on it. I still haven't heard anything else by Ultimate Spinach or the Peanut Butter Conspiracy.

I remember Bumpers but didn't buy it.

I have another memory of a double album 'Fill Your Head With Rock' about the same time. Another one I gave away!!

I remember that one. It had a picture of Jerry Goodman the violinist from the Flock on the cover. A couple of my favourites were ones from Atlantic. One of them had the 9 minute version of America by Yes ( :oops:) on it and was the only place you could get the track.
