Best film I ever saw was sequal to "BULLETT."
It called BUTLIN.
It about Steve Mcqueen on the trail of nasty Mr Big.
Steve Mc queen has to pretend to be a BUTLINS RED COAT based at Filey.
As the film progresses he realises what a great Job it is and gives up being a detective for full time employmnet with BILLY BUTLIN.
I have tear in eye as Steve Mqueen wins knobbly knee competition.
They not make films like that anymore. (sniff)
I always value Pilots wit and input

Just watched ab old movie "In The Name of The Father". Very good. Gives an insight into how the Police and MI5 work in times of trouble.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned "Get Carter".
The original version with Michael Caine.
Filmed in the North East.
What a gritty, down to earth classic.

Yes There was sequal to "GET CARTER"

It store Michael Caine . He survive assasination attempt and he hides in house at Cleethorpes where he takes over haulage business.
It not do very well at box office... and.... not many people know that....

Er did you not think it was a tad one-sided?

No! Knowing how they work and how they close ranks, I thought it was probably a true portrayal of the events. Which did come out (eventually) in the appeal court.
