sign of the times?
On my travels i came into a library today to find some information. I did posts on these boards, then went back to work.
The library is one of the few I've come across with a toilet, but when I went to use it, there was a sign on the door saying: We apologise that this toilet is closed, but this is due to persistent vandalism.
Isn't that awful? You can understand a toilet at a football ground, or in a pub or in some horrible high street where yobs brawl at closing time - but in a LIBRARY?
The trash is everywhere these days.

Gazza:
don't call me a "farkin dirty rat", you illiterate yobboe. Most people don't find the idea of mindless vandalism so amusing as you seem to. If you have nothing to say, shut up. ("Whereof we cannot speak, thereof we should be silent": Ludwig Wittgenstein.)
And, Len, a kind member of staff let me use the staff loo when he noticed my distress!
