Who's Ya Daddy

Post by Roadrunner »

Fancy getting so drunk and telling your own kid that his Dad isn't who he thopught he was. Surely you could have done this a bit better - an dthen to top it all - you put his name on a forum like this - where his school mates can read what his drunken mother did

I don't think this is the ideal forum to trace someone for this purpose.
You may be better off going to the area where your ex husband last lived and looking through electoral rolls-these may be in a post office. See if you can find his name/address on there. If not, go and spread out to neighbouring electoral areas.
You could also do a search online of telephone numbers/addresses or you could look up relatives, past friends and see if they can help you.
You may need to sit down with your son, too, and have a good chat about what being a father really means and reassuring him that his present 'dad' is still his dad in all the ways that matter.

OUCH!!!!!! Thats a shocker!!!!

I agree with sherri on this one..
Maybe if you know of his parents whereabouts????
Does your EX even know he has a son, and that you were pregnant with his child???
:?:

Very good advice, your poor son is going to need some explaining and reassurance big time.. :?

Unless I am mistaken; swanny was looking for the same person last January, something to do with a marriage or divorce certificate, obviously didn't find him then. :?

Kids love to hear early stories about themselves and I can understand him being curious about his father.
Maybe you could make up a photo album for him with photos of yourself and his father etc in the early days and photos of him as a baby.
Maybe you could arrange to go to Shields on a trip or at least pass through, take some shots of the places you used to live, show him where you and his dad lived, where you went to school etc
He will still eventually want to meet his dad but at least he will have some 'history' to go on with.
