In these parts we tend to have our natural disasters after Xmas. Well last Xmas the natural disaster came Boxing day-the Tsunami. That will be a hard one to top.
A few years ago we had a storm strike the sydney/hobart yacht race on Boxing Day and a few people drowned in that.
Yes, I wonder what Boxing Day holds this year.

Mind you, our main thing in the lead up to Xmas is- a big hike in petrol prices and a beer strike.
The petrol price increase is always because of outside, world influences beyond their control, you understand, never because of opportunism by any operators in OUR country.

Only the lonely
Know the way I feel tonight
Only the lonely
Know this feeling ain't right
There goes my baby
There goes my heart
They're gone forever so far apart
But only the lonely
You know why I cry
Only the lonely

Dum-dum-dum-dum-dee-du-wah
Ooh-yeah-yeah-yeah-yah
Oh-woh-woh-woh-o oh-wa-wah
Only the lonely, only the lonely

Only the lonely
Know the heartaches I've been through
Only the lonely
Know I cry and cry for you
Maybe tomorrow a new romance
No more sorrow but that's the chance
You've got to take
If you're lonely heart breaks
Only the lonely

Do what my neighbour does.

She not watch the news on TV.

She not listen to News on Radio.

She not get Newspaper.

She really shocked when I tell her that. Queen Mum had died and Mrs Thatcher not PM now.

She says the world is to depressing and she wants to enjoy her life with her Grandkids.

Maybe she has a point.

Why depress yourself with things you cannot change. Events that have already happened.

I personally want to know, but maybe when I get older will I think like she does and say Sod It I not want to be depressed any longer.

rossinbird. Mrs Thatcher one of the Best things that happen to this country.

She sorted out Unions. They getting far to strong and ruining this country.

Now lots of good ideas eroded by New Labour now they been in power for

eight years but it strange they not give

power back to Unions. Have you ever wondered why ?
