Greens Place/Beacon Inn pre 1960
Looking for photographs for family history of Greens Place ( Lawe Top corner end ) and the Beacon Inn pub 1960 and earlier. I used to live next door at 102, any help most gratefully received.

Jeff, 102 was indeed the next house to the left of the Beacon Inn, and I lived there from early 1939 when 6 months old until 1959, 20 years all told, happy memories indeed. Mr Smith, I am indebted for what you have made available for me, thank you so very much, many hours of browsing to enjoy, for all four requests I posted.

Ah to the left, I think they were pulled down in the early 60s, my grandpartents lived in the flat to the right as you look at the beacon.

Passtheball, I don't have any photos of the outside of the 'Beacon' pub, but here are two photos (one badly damaged) taken in the pub about 1952. The man and woman sitting with the darts trophy cup, are my mam and dad Jack and Kitty Pottinger.

Re: Greens Place/Beacon Inn pre 1960
Thanks Ralph, but unfortunately no familiar faces here, though one could be Dad Meston ?
Re: Greens Place/Beacon Inn pre 1960
Passtheball, no Dad Meston is not on there. Other people on there is my grandfather Ralph Burn, Norman Heron, 'Cabbage' Woods, Mr Gamble, Mr Seales, Lilly Pottinger and I believe the manager and manageress of the pub are on there as well.
