My one and only visit to the Hedworth Hall i leaned over the balcony in order to gaze down some nice cleavage,when due to the effect of several pints i over balanced and landed on a table ,lucky no one was hurt,cost me replacement pints tho.

remember Alf Josephs the manager is he still alive used to go there saturday and sunday nights and parked my lambretta in the work shop where i worked accross the road in the mecca bingo car park for Walter May as a apprentice joiner my grandmother lived at 96 dean road family name Gunn

Did they specialise in building bodies for lorries? Can remember passing a joiners shop on the way into the drill ground of Londonderry Hall when in the cadets.

Watched the SPD fire flames from Marsden Quarry,biggest fire since the war it was said.
