Global, there is no reason you couldn't post pictures, if you gave it 5 minutes of concentration. It isn't complicated. In fact I would say it is no more complicated than attaching a photo to an email and posting it to someone. In fact, the process is almost identical. Exactly the same procedures almost.
You once told me you had bad eyesight and couldn't do it but you seem to be able to make out detail in photos, so i think you would be okay.
Why don't you give it a shot? What have you got to lose?

PS Actually, getting photos downloaded from a camera is probably a more complicated process(than using photobucket), and you do that well. I just thought. If you do feel unsure and the instructions on site aren't quite making sense, we could show you with some pictures, if you like. Sometimes it is clearer to understand what people mean if there is a photo to illustrate. Would that be of any help to you? Just say if you would like some help to unravel the mysteries of photobucket.

I don't download them I take my memory card to the photoshop where I get prints and have them put on a disc. And from the disc they go onto my computer.sherri wrote:bamboo wrote:howay man global-people can part the red sea and you struggle to post a pic on a forum.

I had special prescription glasses made for working on my computer If I did not have these glasses I would not be able to use it.

If you can put them onto your computer from a disc you then just need toGlobalmyths wrote:from the disc they go onto my computer.

put them on a host website such as imageshack or photobucket, it's a piece
of cake, a two year old child can do it, possibly even you.
I also wear prescription glasses, and without them I can see next to nothing,
it doesn't stop me from coping with my computer and posting photos.

Bamboo, I liked your basement picture but I can't see anything scary in it. What is supposed to be in the red circle? I'll have to borrow global's computer glasses.

I've just realised why it has to be a "scary" photo
31st October is Haloween.

Re: Photo Competition ending 31st. October
Well!! Just when I thought I had nothing to contribute to this theme of something scary.......last night something did look scary and freaked me a little
It's a long story, but I will try and make it short......to explain the picture below......well, we have a bit of an apple orchard and some 6 or so years go, because of drought conditions, the cockatoos came and started devouring our fruit......as it is illegal to do any harm to them, I invested in a fake hawk (a natural predator to the cockatoos and other birds), and we stuck it on a long poly bendy pipe in the middle of the orchard, and yes, it did work for a couple of weeks, but then they figured it out and still came in to devour the apples off the trees
what a waste of a fake hawk! So the OH had an idea, he stuck the hawk with a light on the window of the ensuite, so it would stop birds from hitting the glass window. Only thing is, I haven't seen what it looked like or the colour of the light globe used, and as the lights for this area are near a differen area altogether, it was only when I put that light on to get some kindling for the firewood, that I left the light on...and forgot about it....until I went to the loo, and as I came out of the loo.....saw it!
And I must say, it did give me a fright
