WAVIS O'SHAVE - Classic Shields youtube movie!

I thought you might like this litle treasure I've recently discovered on Youtube.I know Jimmy Whizz will as he has declared his loyalty for Wavis many times in the past, and will probably have to explain to the youngtsters ie those under 40 who Wavis is/was - a South Shields legend. Someone has miraculously found the original 1982 movie 'THE HARD' which ran for weeks in the alternative cinemas in Newcastle at the time. ...Hard to disagree, but those lads were neither from Shields nor particularly hard. (Southern softies). Wavis actually has a famous historical ancestor called Ronnie, that wee Scots hard lad Ronnie Prince Charlie.

I read years ago that a British comedian got his stage name from a double glass door that had painted on it. "NO SMOKING". And when he pushed the door open it then read. "NOSMO KING". And from that time on he called himself Nosmo King. Do you know if that was true, and how good-funny was he.

Nosmo King was one of the characters along with Lady Sonly.

anna and party girl, Wavis is a legend in his own life time, he used to be on the tube and another north east show called check it out, he once made the news after he made his own record called anna fords bum lol, not bad for a shields lad
