I suppose it's about time they did something with it. I thought the Golden Lion was a listed buiding though.

Things seen to be looking up around there. I heard the clubhouse at the Harton Miners Welfare ground is quite good.

Townsville a few years ago had a government owned multi story flats for single mums unemployed (dole bludgers) so the rent was cheap. Which over the years these flats had built up such a bad reputation for se.x dr.ugs drink, parties, etc its infamy eventually got so bad that they relocated all the tenents and then bulldozed the place to the ground.
