I unexpectely had a ride in a helicopter for my birthday weekend, took pictures of course!

My mate reckons he's going to a convention for retired shoe repairers today.

thanks Betty, I was up for half an hour, it was absolutly brill. Never been in one before, but definatly want to go again, I couldn't stop smiling all day afterwards!
Champion, I took loads of St James, pity the team were in Middlesborough!

CJ my favorite photo is the one showing the river from the bridges to the sea, I spent 30 years of my working life going up and down the river.

Pilot feel free to save and print off if you like, I've done the last one and it looks great in a frame.

Brian I don't know what the ruin is called, castle something! Apparently it can't be seen from the road, but it is accessible. i was hoping someone could tell me!

Happy birthday CJ there is no doubt that a flight in a helicopter is the perfect medium for viewing the country side and for photography. And you have taken full advantage of the opprtunity given you.
