Does anyone remember Kathy Stobart (b. 1936) the South Shields jazz saxophonist?

She was actually born on 1st April 1925, Jerry.

Her birth name was Florence K Stobart.

World renowned jazz musician.

Now in her early 80s.

One site was stupid enough to say that she was born in 1936 and was now in her eighties, the mind boggles.

It goes to show; that when you are seeking for information on the web, you need to cross reference details, and even then the details could be incorrect.
