hi cj, the best place in shields for fish and chips is green lane chippy, you will not taste a better fish.
i like to one at the top of stanhope road too but i like to go there for pizzas.

Mmmmm, fish and chips. I must say you folks do a good job with those. The portions tend to be huge, the chips are fabulous and they don't look at you funny when you ask for malt vinegar.

I've just had spam-fritter and chips, who remembers the 1a cafe? I used to go with me mam and have veggie soup, spam-fritter and chips finished off with ice-cream and a glass of coke..... lovely. They did a lovely beef dip for 38p as well

I think Pilot is asking that, if you're not half as daft as you look, Sless, exactly how daft are you?

Nope, you can't be, Sless. You manage to get your neighbor to fix your catches and you drink the beer in the ice chest. Sounds cunningly clever to me.
