I've found a rabbit in the street last Thursday (15th)

Stanhope Road area.

if anyone's lost it or knows someone who's lost it please get in touch.

I'm taking care of it for the time being.

And does anyone know if there's any local sanctuaries who'd take i in if the owner doesn't turn up?

Preferably a safe place that doesn't involve the bunny going into a pie

Thanks, BlueWear, but I'm not really in the market for a rabbit just now.

Jimmy's joke was about a film in which a drinking man man is befriended by a pooka in the form of a 6' 3.5" rabbit named Harvey. It's quite funny as his family members seek to have him committed but it all sort of backfires.

So, how big it this rabbit??

Thanks for the info I might give them a ring.

I've put 'found rabbit' ads up in three local paper shops (shame on the one that charged me 25p

), the local post office, the petshop and the vets.

If no one claims by the end of the week I'll be looking for a home for it.
