Northern lights

Post by The Beast »

Did anybody else see the Northern lights the other night? They were quite bright over Hebburn, they are due to be showing again next week.

In case you don't know the direction to look, face in the direction of the north sea and then turn left 90 degrees.

Hope you catch a glimpse. :)

Really depends on the time of year and meterological conditions. As far as I know it is quite rare for them to appear this far South. They are fairly common place in Northern Scotland.
